Customer Stories

Our customers are blazing a path to startup success.

Minxli

Tupelo has provided fractional CTO and a Ukrainian Dev team build for Minxli.

“As fractional CTO, Murray built and led a fantastic team of Ukrainian Software engineers, QA, and Product Designers. Together we built a certified telemedicine product that powered the non-emergency helpline for the public health department in a major German state. The product included peer to peer video calls and text/image chat used by Doctors, Nurses and Patients on web, iOS and Android platforms. It also provided workflow management features for call centre staff. Our customer was delighted with the product and service. I was very happy with the tech team who delivered a great product in a timely manner."

Peppy Health

Tupelo built Peppy’s tech team consisting of full stack developers working with React Native and Node.js as well as QA and DevOps Engineers. We also provided tech leadership for the team. Peppy bought out the team from Tupelo following it’s Series A round in 2021.

“Tupelo has been our technology partner since we started the company in 2018. Murray and his team gave us valuable technical advice and direction to get us started, and provided us with the developers that we needed to get it done. As we gained traction and investment, Tupelo provisioned a full-time team of great software engineers who built our amazing Peppy mobile app and website. Building our tech team in Ukraine was a great decision. They are highly skilled, smart, and fit well with our culture. I highly recommend working with Tupelo."

Evan Harris, Founder

In 2023 Peppy secured funding to expand in the U.S., with a $45 million Series B led by AlbionVC. The round was joined by Kathaka, MTech Capital, Simplyhealth and Sony Innovation Fund. Previous investors Felix Capital, Hambro Perks, Outward VC and Seedcamp also participated.

Seat Unique

Tupelo has provided fractional CTO and early technical direction for Seat Unique.

“Murray is our trusted technology advisor who supports us with product and technology strategy and decision making. It's been brilliant having him working with us on our journey to build our marketplace for premium access to Sport and Music events. I highly recommend working with the Tupelo team to build and grow the tech capability in your business."

Pip Hicks, Founder

Seat Unique, the online marketplace for premium tickets to live events, has raised a £7M Series A round led by London-based Nickleby Capital.

Raremark

Tupelo built a Ukrainian tech team for Raremark back in 2018, as well as setting up an office in Kyiv for the team to work in.

“We asked Tupelo build a development team in Ukraine for us back in 2018. Murray worked with us to understand our needs and introduce candidates for interview. We were impressed with the quality of the technologists in Ukraine, and quickly had our team in place and ready to work. Murray handled the complexities of doing business in Ukraine, including recruitment, legal, office, accounting, and health insurance for our staff. It was pretty much plug and play from our perspective. We are still working with the team and they are doing great."

Alex Garner, COO

In 2018 London-based data platform Raremark (later rebranded Xperiome) landed $3.9 million (£3 million) in a funding round led by AlbionVC and Ananda Ventures, with participation from Oltre Ventures and Cass Entrepreneurship Fund.
